Hair systems consist of hair that is fixed to a base that in turn is attached to your scalp. The lightest and most undetectable bases are currently made of lace or super thin polyurethane (PU) bases. Our Thin Skin is the thinnest PU base available on the market

Hair is either tied or looped through the base in such a way that it stands up as if it were growing out of your scalp. Where knots are used these are bleached so that they disappear into your scalp.

The hair system is fixed using either glue or tape and is stuck directly to your scalp. Most wearers leave their system on for a least a week though some go for up to two weeks. During this time the attachment is absolutely secure. Using tape your system will not slide, blow away or be ripped off. If pulled the hairs will break before your system comes free.

When it comes to removing the system you simply apply an alcohol based release agent which breaks the bond between the adhesive and the hair system. To remove the system, clean your scalp and the base then re-attach should take no more than 30 minutes. With experience this can be got down to under 20 minutes! That's just once a week. It's far from high maintenance!!
